Prime Minister Hon. John Briceño departed Belize today as head of delegation to the Twenty-sixth Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom.
During his absence, Hon. Cordel Hyde, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources, Petroleum and Mining, will act as prime minister.
The Prime Minister is expected to return to Belize on November 6, 2021.
