The Office of the Prime Minister informs that Prime Minister Hon. John Briceño departed the country, today, to Los Angeles, California, U.S.A., to attend the IX Summit of the Americas from June 8-10, 2022.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by Hon. Eamon Courtenay, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade & Immigration, and Ambassador Stuart Leslie, Cabinet Secretary.
The Prime Minister returns to Belize on June 11, 2022. During his absence, Hon. Cordel Hyde, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources, Petroleum & Mining, will act as Prime Minister.
