Prime Minister Hon. John Briceño departed Belize on April 18th to Barbados for meetings with US officials starting April 20, 2022. Prime Minister Briceño will be attending the meetings in his capacity as the CARICOM Chair.
The Prime Minister is expected to return to Belize on April 22, 2022.
In the Prime Minister’s absence, Hon. Cordel Hyde, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources, Petroleum and Mining will act as Prime Minister.
