Prime Minister Departs for CARICOM Summit and SICA Meeting

The Office of the Prime Minister informs that Prime Minister Hon. John Briceño departed the country today to attend the Eighth Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Caribbean Community and the Republic of Cuba scheduled to take place in Bridgetown, Barbados, on 6^th December 2022. Subsequently, the Prime Minister will attend the LVI Ordinary Meeting of Heads of State and Government of the Central American Integration System (SICA) in Santiago de Los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, on the 8^th and 9^th of December 2022.

The Prime Minister returns to Belize on 10^th December 2022. Hon. Cordel Hyde, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources, Petroleum & Mining, will act as Prime Minister.
