Today, three new ministers of state were sworn in before Ambassador Stuart Leslie, Deputy Governor General of Belize.
Hon. Jorge Espat joins the Ministry of Finance, Economic Development, Investment, Civil Aviation and Immigration as Minister of State for Investment. Hon. Marconi Leal was sworn in as the Minister of State in the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing and Hon. Alex Balona was sworn in as the Minister of State in the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise.
The swearing-in follows the Prime Minister’s announcement of a re-assignment of portfolios on April 3.
