The Ministry of Human Development, Families and Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Maria Elena Contreras as Chairperson of the National Commission for Families and Children (NCFC).
Mrs. Contreras brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge in public service to Belize. She served as a manager at the Social Security Board for many years and comes with the maturity and skills in management necessary to guide the commission forward. Her commitment to the families and children of Belize is unwavering, and her energy to coordinate and lead the NCFC is solid as proven by her record.
The ministry welcomes Mrs. Contreras and thanks her for taking on the reins at the NCFC.
