The Ministry of Health & Wellness joins the staff of the Northern Regional Hospital, the wider medical community, and all healthcare workers in offering prayers and condolences to the family of Dr. Jose Victor Can.
Dr. Can died tragically in a road traffic accident on the Blue Creek Road, Orange Walk on December 9, 2021. He worked at the Northern Regional Hospital in Orange Walk Town as a medical doctor assigned to the COVID-19 vaccination team since March 2021. Dr. Can was a very humble, dedicated and diligent doctor. He will be greatly missed by the members of the vaccination team, extended staff at hospital, and the patients with whom he interacted.
May his soul rest in peace and rise in glory.
