Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour and Local Government Hosts Stakeholders Recognition Award Ceremony

The Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour and Local Government held its first Stakeholders Recognition Award Ceremony today. The purpose of the ceremony is to highlight the outstanding contributions of different stakeholders in pursuing the mission of the Ministry in service to the Belizean people.

The recipients are Hope Springs Water for longstanding partnership and support, Belize City Council for innovation in the service delivery and management, and Central Information Technology Office (CITO) for support in the online transition of ministry services. Receiving the Stakeholders Recognition Awards were Mr. Daniel Shol, representing Hope Springs Water; Mayor Bernard Wagner, Mayor of Belize City; and Mr. Ian Smith, Chief Information Officer at CITO.

Present at the ceremony were Hon. Oscar Requeña, Minister of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour and Local Government; Hon. Ramiro Ramirez, Minister of State; and Mr. Valentino Shal, CEO in the Ministry.

The Ministry congratulates all the recipients and thanks them for their overall services and continued support to the Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour and Local Government.
