From January 27 to February 4, 2021, the Hon. Rodwell Ferguson, Minister of Public Utilities, Energy and Logistics, and Mr. Marconi Leal Jr., Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry, concluded their familiarization tour of departments in the northern, western and southern districts.
During his tour, Minister Ferguson visited Belize Electricity Limited, Belize Water Services Limited, Belize Telemedia Limited, Belize Port Authority, post offices, transport departments and terminals in the municipalities, including Independence Village.
Fruitful discussions were held with the officers-in-charge on their operations, including plans for their improvement to provide a more efficient service to Belizeans.
The Minister thanked the management of the offices visited for their ongoing works, safety precautions, and committed to work in collaboration for continued enhancements and growth in the future.
