As part of their familiarization tour, the Hon. Rodwell Ferguson, Minister of Public Utilities and Logistics, and Mr. Marconi Leal, Jr., Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry, met with executive members of the Belize Electricity Ltd., Belize Telemedia Ltd., Belize Water Services Ltd., the Public Utilities Commission, and the Belize Port Authority on Thursday, November 26, 2020.
The visits acquainted Minister Ferguson with the companies, and more importantly, served to identify opportunities for growth and development in the utilities and logistics sectors.
Over the coming weeks, the Minister is scheduled to continue countrywide visits to engage with other entities under his portfolio.
