The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing, through the George
Price Highway Rehabilitation Project, has acquired two fully equipped 2022 Toyota Fortuner 4×4 sport utility vehicles as part of its project deliverables. Today, those vehicles were handed over to the Department of Transport with the aim of increasing enforcement initiatives on the newly rehabilitated highway.
These vehicles were handed over to Hon. Rodwell Ferguson, Minister of Public Utilities, Energy and Logistics, and Ms. Dian Vasquez, Chief Transport Officer, by Mr. Victor Espat, CEO in the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH).
These vehicles will better equip the Department of Transport and expand its operational reach in order to reduce road traffic collisions.
