The Ministry of Health & Wellness urges all unvaccinated persons 18 years and older to get vaccinated. The Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) COVID-19 vaccine is available at all vaccination sites. This is a one dose vaccine and the body starts developing immunity two weeks after receiving the vaccine.
Please check local health centers or the Facebook page of the Ministry of Health & Wellness for more information. The ministry also continues to encourage parents to take their children ages 12 years and older to get vaccinated.
All persons are reminded to continue wearing a facemask properly, maintain physical distance, and wash and sanitize hands often.
