In Memory of Kenrick Theus, President of the Belize Assembly for Persons with Diverse Abilities (BAPDA)

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that the Ministry of Human Development, Families and Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs, and the Disability Desk, announce the passing of Kenrick Theus, the esteemed President of the Belize Assembly for Persons with Diverse Abilities (BAPDA).

Kenrick Theus was a beacon of hope, a tireless advocate, and a true champion for the rights and empowerment of persons with diverse abilities. His dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to the community have left an indelible mark on Belize and beyond.

We extend our deepest condolences to the members of BAPDA, who have lost an inspiring leader and friend. His vision and efforts have paved the way for a more inclusive society, and his legacy will continue to inspire and drive positive change.
