Hon. Magali Marin Young, Attorney General, with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), today signed an agreement for the implementation of good governance legislation.
The UNDP will finance the hiring of an international legal expert to assist the Attorney General’s Ministry with the development of a Civil Asset Recovery and Unexplained Wealth Order legal framework, including primary and subsidiary laws. This is in keeping with the government’s commitment to fulfilling the obligations under the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC).
