The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Immigration informs that Foreign Minister Hon. Eamon Courtenay will meet with his Guatemalan counterpart, Foreign Minister H.E. Pedro Brolo Vila, on March 4, 2021, at the Office of the Organization of American States (OAS) in the Adjacency Zone.
The foreign ministers will discuss efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries including reactivating the Belize-Guatemala Joint Commission, implementation of the Partial Scope Trade Agreement and enhancing the work of the OAS Office in the Adjacency Zone.
The ministers are also expected to reaffirm the importance and adherence of both countries to the Confidence Building Measures Agreement signed in 2005.
