The Ministry of Finance announces that on Thursday, February 25, 2021, the pump price of three fuel products will change.
The prices of premium gasoline, kerosene and diesel will register increases as follows:
Premium gasoline will increase by 51 cents from $9.89 to $10.40 per gallon; kerosene will increase by 29 cents from $6.46 to $6.75 per gallon; and diesel will increase by 42 cents from $9.20 to $9.62 per gallon.
The price for regular gasoline will remain unchanged at $9.81 per gallon.
The price changes reflect current demand and supply conditions of crude oil in the international petroleum market and fluctuations in the acquisition price of refined fuel products in the countries from which Belize obtains its supplies.
The Government of Belize is monitoring the price movements and supply conditions closely and will work with the fuel industry to safeguard the pump prices paid by Belizean consumers.
