The Ministry of Natural Resources, Petroleum and Mining, as the agent on behalf of the Government of Belize for land known as “Miller’s Bight” in collaboration with the Ministry of Rural Transformation, hereby notifies that the elections for the San Jose Nuevo Palmar Lands Advisory Committee were conducted on Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the village community centre.
A total of 15 candidates were nominated and 406 voters participated in the election. A total of 2,631 votes were casted whereas 11 votes were spoilt. The results of the votes yielded the members for appointment as follows:
