The Ministry of Health & Wellness advises persons to return to the vaccination site eight weeks after getting the first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine for their second dose. Receiving both the first and second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine provides greater immunity against COVID-19.
The ministry also continues to urge persons 18 years and older to get vaccinated and encourages parents to take their children 12 years and older to get vaccinated. Please check local health centers or the Facebook page of the Ministry of Health & Wellness for more information.
All persons are reminded to continue wearing a facemask properly, maintain physical distance, and wash and sanitize hands often.
