On February 22, 2021, Hon. Rodwell Ferguson, Minister of Public Utilities, Energy and Logistics, received a courtesy visit by the U.S. Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires to Belize, Mr. Keith R. Gilges.
Among the many opportunities discussed, was the possible collaboration between the U.S. Embassy and the Government of Belize in the energy and transportation sectors. These sectors are targeted for strengthening to boost economic transformation under the Plan Belize.
In closing the meeting, the Minister thanked Chargé d’Affaires Mr. Gilges for his visit and interest in improving these sectors in Belize.
Also present in the meeting were Mr. Marconi Leal Jr., Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry, and Mr. Ryan Cobb, Director of Energy in the Ministry.
