It has come to the notice of the Office of the Supervisor of Insurance & Private Pension (“OSIPP”) that an entity calling itself ‘Leverage Inc.’, is conducting insurance intermediary services for ‘IMG Global’. Neither entity is licensed to conduct insurance business from in and within Belize.
All persons concerned are warned to take note and exercise caution.As a reminder, the general public is advised that all insurance entities licensed to conduct business in Belize are issued with an Annual Licence Certificate which is to be displayed in a prominent public place within their offices.

In the case of insurance agents, in addition to the licence certificate, they are issued with an Intermediary Card which should be presented upon simple request by any person wishing to conduct business with such agents.
Only licences issued for 2020 are valid. The list of licensed insurers and intermediaries can be found on https://osipp.gov.bz/
