Belmopan. March 2, 2020. The Office of the Prime Minister has ordered that Belize flags be flown at half-mast on all official buildings as of today and until the last Belize Defence Force (BDF) soldier is laid to rest. This is in honour of the passing of four members of the BDF – Major Adran Ramirez, Major Radford Baizar, Corporal Yassir Mendez and Corporal Reinaldo Choco.
The Government of Belize once again offers sincere condolences to the families of the soldiers, Commander, Officers and all men and women of the Belize Defence Force.
