Belmopan. January 25, 2019. This afternoon in Belmopan, Minister of National Emergency Management Hon. Edmond Castro addressed NEMO Coordinators and Warehouse Managers from around the country at the National Emergency Management Organization’s first National Planning Meeting for 2019.
Hon. Castro thanked the staff for their dedicated service in 2019 and encouraged them to continue working hard and preparing themselves to lead the way in managing whatever disaster might come our way in 2019. Main topics discussed were Tsunami Readiness Plan and Flood Planning.
The two-day meeting, which started yesterday and finished this afternoon, was conducted inside the training room at the NEMO Headquarters.
