The Office of the Prime Minister hereby announces that the Prime Minister, Hon. John Briceño, has advised the Governor General to dissolve the National Assembly of Belize today, Tuesday, 11th February 2025. It was also advised to the Governor General to issue writs for the holding of General Elections on Wednesday, 12th March 2025, with Monday, 24th February 2025, as Nomination Day.
