Today, Governor General H.E. Dame Froyla Tzalam received letters of credence from two newly appointed ambassadors to Belize: H.E. Erja Askola, Ambassador of the European Union and H.E. David Castro De Leon, Ambassador of Panama. The presentations took place at the Belize House in Belmopan.
The ambassadors expressed appreciation to Belize for their commitment to strengthening relations and intend to foster these ties throughout their appointment. The Governor General warmly welcomed the diplomats and conveyed best wishes on behalf of the people and Government of Belize.
