The Office of the Prime Minister informs that Prime Minister Hon. John Briceño departed the country today for New York City. The Prime Minister is leading a delegation to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Summit of World Leaders from September 18 to 19.
The delegation will attend several events where the Prime Minister will be the keynote speaker on the Blue Bond and the successful restructuring of the national debt.
Prime Minister Briceño will return to Belize on September 20. During his absence, Hon. Francis Fonseca, Minister of Education, Culture, Science & Technology, will hold over as Prime Minister.
