On Thursday, December 8, 2022, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology (MoECST) received a donation of school stationery and sanitary supplies from Naïa Resort and Spa. The donation was presented by Mr. Clive Myers, General Manager of Naïa Resort, and was received by Ms. Terri Wesby-Langford, Education Officer in the MoECST.
This initiative was made possible through the resort’s ‘Pack for A Purpose’ programme which encourages guests to make a priceless impact on the lives of local children and families by contributing to local and community-based causes.
The MoECST expresses its gratitude to the team and guests of Naïa Resort and Spa for their generosity and commitment to the education of Belize’s children. This donation will complement the ongoing efforts of the MoECST in ensuring the education system rebounds in the wake of Hurricane Lisa.
