The Office of the Prime Minister informs that Hon. John Briceño departed the country today, May 17, to Georgetown, Guyana, to attend the CARICOM Agri-Investment Forum and Expo scheduled to be held from May 19 to 21, 2022.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by Hon. Jose Abelardo Mai, Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise, and Ambassador Stuart Leslie, Cabinet Secretary.
The Prime Minister returns to Belize on May 22, 2022.
During the Prime Minister’s absence, the Hon. Cordel Hyde, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources, Petroleum & Mining will hold over as Prime Minister.
