Changes in the Pump Price of Fuel

The Ministry of Finance announces that effective Thursday, January 27, 2022, the pump price of three fuel products will change.

The prices of regular gasoline, kerosene and diesel will register increases as follows:

Regular gasoline will increase by 41 cents from $11.69 to $12.10 per gallon.

Kerosene will increase by 59 cents from $8.20 to $8.79 per gallon.

Diesel will increase by 67 cents from $10.89 to $11.56 per gallon.

The price for premium gasoline will remain unchanged at $12.30 per gallon.

The price changes reflect current demand and supply conditions of crude oil in the international petroleum market and fluctuations in the acquisition price of refined fuel products in the countries from which Belize obtains its supplies.

The Government of Belize is monitoring the price movements and supply conditions closely and will work with the fuel industry to safeguard the pump prices paid by Belizean consumers.
